Diving into a Novel Approach
Ahh, it feels good to dive in! Today I was able to start prepping the 2 books I had chosen for Tammy Garcia's Novel Approach online course. This course is about art journaling and acrylic paint techniques done in a hardback book, altering it. I love it! Find out more about Novel Approach here. Prepping one of my books and weighing it down with a brick!
I added my Visual Inspiration board to this book and loved seeing it settle into it's new home.
I did one of the beginning exercises with acrylic paints on mini file tab index cards and after I made them, decided to add the cards to the 2nd smaller book I started to prep, the math book.
So much fun to fool around with paints in a book again! I'm looking forward to exploring more of Tammy's lessons in the next few days :)
