Here's the 3rd journal I've created to exchange with the 'Letter Journal Love' group. It is the first one I initiated, asking the group for participants and organizing the mailing order. Each participant needs to make a letter journal to send around, in round robin fashion. I gave the participants the option of doing a Road Map theme or something different . . . and I think most of them will be doing the map theme for their journals! Not all my pages are Road Map related, but that's okay.
I really enjoy making these journals, working in the other participant's journals, creating mail art to go on each envelope when sending . . . . not to mention the new friendships and camaraderie! This is an international group. It's also an invitation only group, but I've found it to be a warm, friendly & helpful group. Letter Journaling is my favorite new mixed media/art journaling type of activity to do!
